Chiloe' Wigeon (Anas sibilatrix)

This breed originates in South America.  Sexes are similar, with drakes being slightly larger at 2.1 pounds and hens weighing 1.6 pounds.  The hen lays 5-8 white or pale-buff eggs and prefers a nest hidden among vegetation, sometimes far from water.
