Fulvous Whistling Duck (Dendrocygna bicolor)

Widely spread over 4 continents, this breed is found in North and South America, Africa, and Southern Asia.  The sexes are similar in markings and in weight, at 1.5 pounds.  The hen lays 9-15 eggs which range in color from cream to buff-white.  This breed prefers a ground level box among vegetation.
